We’ve seen it as the and , but now, after what seems like countless months brand-free glass-encased trade show appearances it looks like Olympus has officially titled launched it’s , the E-3. We don’t yet know much about it, but we understand it will have a live view LCD, work on the 3/4ths mount standard, and be available at least somewhere in November. With interest in the — HTC’s foray into the wacky market — coming to a rolling boil, we’re glad to hear the company has finally shored up firm plans to get the sucker released.

What would you get if you crossed a , , and UMTS? This here Pantech C180, naturally. Boy Genius Report has pictures of the AT&T-branded device being called “Mustang” and “Duo” internally, though it’s not known whether either of those names will make it to production; features are said to include a 3G radio of some sort (either UMTS or UMTS / HSDPA), microSD expansion, that wild dual-slide action with a numeric keypad in one direction and a full QWERTY deal in the other, and a 65,000-color display — but other than that, we’re in the dark. Vista bug puts a snag in network traffic when music is playing

It looks like users that have noticed a slowdown in network traffic while they were playing music weren’t imagining things, as Windows expert has reportedly confirmed that such a bug does indeed exist.

Although frankly the benefits they’ll see are marginal — especially if they’ve already — many Sprint devotees will nevertheless be delighted to learn that xda-developers forum member helmi_c is promising an Apache-compatible build of to be released this Friday, and he’s got the screenshots that claim to prove it.
