Granted, Tritton’s latest Bluetooth stereo headset isn’t nearly as likely to garner strange looks in public as one of those tried and true , but we suppose we can live without all the negative attention if necessary. The AX BlueStream features a simple, 2.5-inch long clip-on device that enables users to stream tunes to earbuds of their choice via the 3.5-millimeter audio out, handle phone calls via the built-in microphone and check caller ID information on the integrated OLED display. If you’re still hanging in there even after the , then you’ll be happy to know that the Asus Eee PC just busted free on-line over at NewEgg. No sign of it at yet so you’re stuck with a $399 4GB model (only) at the moment. A $10.33 shipping insult is added to the failed expectation injury starting today.

Look, if you absolutely, positively must get some DAB into your iPod lifestyle, then you’ll probably be somewhat interested in the Robi — a new tuner from Roberts Radio which lets you pipe in smooth digital broadcasts via your regular old player. There really aren’t a lot of plusses here; for £49.99 (or $100) you get a DAB tuner that also does double duty as a remote. Does this second function justify the cost? While not the first bunch to try and invisibility with military equipment, the British Army is reportedly staying busy by “testing technology it claims makes tanks and troops invisible.” Apparently, the (previously) uber-secret trials were conducted by the Royal Engineers and scientists from , and if eyewitness reports are to be believed, they were able to “make a vehicle seem to completely disappear.” The illusion (read: we’re no closer to actual ) was reportedly created by utilizing “cameras and projectors to beam images captured from the surrounding landscape onto a specially-adapted tank coated with silicon to maximize their reflective qualities,” and if things go as planned, these elusive machines could make their way onto the battlefield “within five years.” ‘Course, it’s not like anyone will have visual proof of that, but we suppose that’s just the nature of the beast.

Everybody’s favorite IP is back in the news. Meizu’s M8 Mini One iPhone clone just received an makeover in a bid for protection from Apple’s lawyers. See, the M8 is a phone, the touch is an MP3 player — so toootally different your honor.
